EFL Cup Win[edit]

@Mattythewhite and @Stuart1234, so only players who played in the final get credit for winning the cup? TylerBurden (talk) 04:09, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Players who were in the matchday squad, whether they played or not, go up and receive a medal. If you have a reliable source that Elanga received a medal even though he wasn't in the matchday squad then feel free to add it to his article. Stuart1234 (talk) 04:48, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I was just asking because edit summaries like ″Appearing in an earlier round doesn't mean anything″ seemed more like a revert based on personal opinion rather than anything policy based, but if four appearances doesn't satisfy Wikiproject football's critera for credit then so be it. As per Stuart, if an independent, reliable source (i.e. not a post from a player's Instagram, or such like) can be used to support the claim that they received a medal, then it's probably fine for it to be included. Otherwise, no, based on it not being adequately sourced. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:51, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
