Should the current lock/protection status be reduced back down to semi-protected silverlock?[edit]

All the other Justices are at the semi-protected status right now with the exception of Barrett despite the fact that as of now Justices like Thomas and Alito probably have more bad press and hate coming to them. I understand having kept it at this status during her hearings and for the subsequent months afterwards, but I feel it should probably be brought lower. I'm a year late, but I agree with this. Why is this article still under extended protection? DocZach (talk) 22:57, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Home sale to "friend of the court"[edit]

Newsweek is reporting ACB sold her home to a "friend of the court" after being sworn onto the SCOTUS, but did not disclose it. They wrote "With the sale of her home in South Bend, Indiana, to Wilson for $905,000, Barrett can be considered the third Supreme Court justice to have made money from property transactions with conservative figures who are members of legal advocacy groups tied to the high court."
