Date of Death 28 October or 9 November ?[edit]

F. Ughelli, Italia sacra I, p. 390, gives the date 5. Kal. Novemb. (28 October). C. Eubel, Hierarchia catholica II, p. 40, no. 357, says: "Nov. 9 Amicus card. s. Mariae in Transtiberim Aquilanus vulg. nuncup. in civ. Aquilae diem clausit extremum, cujus a. r. i. .p.," quoting a ms. in the Vatican Archives. (That would be 5. Id. Novemb.)

Ughelli is seconded by (or copied by): Angelo Signorini (1868), La diocesi di Aquila descritta ed illustrata: studio. (in Italian). Vol. II. Aquila: Stabilimento Tipografico Grossi, 1868, p. 66.

Both Ughelli and Eubel are known to make mistakes of various sorts on numerous occasions.
