Problem with dates[edit]

In the caption of the main photograph it is indicated that the photograph corresponds to the 42nd academic year at the American Memorial School (for completeness, I myself re-wrote this caption yesterday, on the basis of the information in the previous caption as well as the information in the Copy Right statement of this photograph). Given the fact that we are said that the School has been established in 1891, and given the fact that we are said that the photograph at issue dates from 1923, I fail to see where "42nd academic year" may refer to. Either the photograph dates from 1933, or the School has been established in 1881; the period 1891-1923 cannot cover 42 years! Of course, it may also be that rather than the 42nd academic year, the photograph corresponds to the 32nd academic year. Could someone kindly undertake and find out the correct dates? Wikipedia is supposed to provide people with reliable information and as the matters stand it seems that nothing in this article can be trusted. --BF 15:09, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

The persian inscription on the blackboard indeed states "42nd year of the Tabriz Memorial school, Iran 1923", indicating hence that the school was established in 1881. Ugo14 08:24, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Ugo14! Indeed, the information on the blackboard indicates both "1923" and that the photograph corresponds to the "forty-second" anniversary of the inauguration of the school. I shall therefore change the date to from 1891 to 1881. With kind regards, --BF 10:41, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
