Hello, my name is CaliforniaDreamsFan, and I'll be reviewing your article! Full review coming soon, so stay tuned!

Infobox[edit]

  • If there is no cover, caption, format, etc. in the infobox, just remove them.
 Done

Lead section[edit]

  • Identify who "Elvis Costello and the Attractions" are; e.g. "is a song by English musical group Elvis...", something like that.
 Done
  • "contains lyrics comparing a former relationship to a present one." — "contains lyrics that compare a former relationship to a present one."
 Done
  • Add release year for The Girl in the Other Room.
 Done

Background and composition[edit]

  • Add a reference at the end of the second sentence, since it contains quotations.
 Done
  • I'm a bit lost through the third and fourth sentences. Are you saying that he created a ballad (with British Pop perspective) track, and the traditional pop song, and that were both titled "Almost Blue"? Or is it the same song? If its the same, then you repeated that he wrote the track, but then it should say something like, "Costelle wrote the ballad that shared the same name as his previous 1981 studio album, and recorded it with a "British pop" perspective. However, produced by Geoff Emerick, it was noted as a traditional pop song that is written in A minor and is set in time signature of common time with a tender beat consisting of 60 beats per minute." — Hope this doesn't sound confusing.
 Done
  • Also, why have his full name half-way through the section? State his full name at the first part of the section, then continue using his surname.
 Done
  • Unlink Chet Baker, and use his surname since you've already noted him.
 Done

Live performances and covers[edit]

  • Remove "also"
 Done
  • "American trumpeter Chet Baker" should be first used in the 'Background and composition' section where it identifies Baker. Also, you can use his full name here since its further down the article, but that's up to you.
 Done
  • The rest is well written!
Done Hey thanks! Carbrera (talk) 03:47, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Diana Krall's version[edit]

  • Identify who Krall is; e.g. Costello's wife, Canadian singer Diana Krall, etc.
 Done
  • You use Krall a lot here; try change it up by saying something like "the singer", "she", "her", etc.
 Done
  • Everything else is well written
Done Again, thank you! Carbrera (talk) 03:47, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
