Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <1. President of one of the largest corporations in the United States for more than a decade, i.e., Pennsylvania Railroad; 2. Executive involved in one of the largest corporate bankruptcies in the United States at the time, 1970, i.e., failure of Penn Central Transportation Co., 3. Article fills gap in current corporate history list on Wikipedia's own Pennsylvania Railroad history page, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_Railroad under Corporate Officers and notice that Greenough is listed as the LAST president of the 150-year-old institution, 5. Involvement, as president of Pennsylvania Railroad, in demolition and urban renewal of Penn Station in New York City into today's Madison Square Garden [section has not yet been added to Greenough biography but why would anyone bother to add to Wikipedia given speedy deletion tags thrown up by user's totally unfamiliar with the subject matter and unqualified to comment?, see http://nyc-architecture.com/GON/GON004.htm orhttp://www.subjectverb.com/www/writing/pennstation.pdf for information on Greenough's involvement in the transformation of Penn Station into New Madison Square Garden Qy0f (talk) 06:46, 18 December 2011 (UTC) JP3 — Qy0f (talk) 06:46, 18 December 2011 (UTC)>[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]
