I've removed several chunks of content which did not provide support that were within the scope "unlawful campaigning in the 2016 EU referendum". I think this is an interesting perspective and I agree it's worth discussing. On the other hand, readers may wonder why there's no coverage of notable cases that are ongoing, or notable cases that they have heard of but whose resolution they are unaware of. It seems to me that it would be neater to change the scope of the article, and make it clearer what is and isn't an ongoing case, than delete so much referenced content. I don't mind renaming the article. Personally I think the title can accommodate ongoing investigations and closed cases fine, but I'd welcome alternative suggestions. I'm not sure how WP:CRIME is relevant here: that section discusses whether it's appropriate to create articles about people accused of crimes, which the present article isn't doing. @Alarichall: yes, I meant WP:BLPCRIME and WP:BLP in general. The article title implies all the included examples are of unlawful campaigning - which is clearly unsupported, so violates the policy. As for a new name, if we keep those allegations which were not upheld, then we need to prefix the title with something like "Allegations of...". -- DeFacto (talk). 20:27, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
