Yes, death on 25 Oct is clearly nonsense. It was reported by the Cuban press agency Prensa Latina with date-line 23 Oct (Saturday), and news coverage on 24 Oct from several sources, whether official or otherwise report that he died on "Saturday/yesterday", eg Granma, Periodico Cubano, Asere or "today", eg CubaNoticias360; or do not confirm a date (but cannot be 25th), eg El Universal, Mexico. I don't see today.in-24 or, especially, Nenroll-Nenroll as wp:RS.
I think that "aged 103" is a mis-translation into English, and that "in his 103rd year" is what is meant; Granma has something like "only one day short of completing 103 years".
