RSAF and PAF[edit]

The English Electric Lightning was operated by RSAF only as Pakistan never acquired them. Regarding who flew the lightnings, The sources referenced here don't mention that they were exclusively flown by Pakistani pilots and not also by Saudi pilots. Inclusion of Pakistan[edit]

According to the discussion that took place on Template talk:Infobox military conflict, The title of "Supported by:" is only deprecated. Pakistan (At least the PAF alone) should be added as a belligerent on the infobox as they have played an important part in this war, plus many WP:RS exist that say so. There is no reason for the removal and it should be returned to the infobox.

@Abo Yemen, I think Pakistan should be included in support, although I didn't add it and won't till a consensus is reached, but I've added PAF in units Waleed (talk) 13:37, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abo Yemen should I add PAF or do we have to wait until @Skitash responds Waleed (talk) 13:16, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
if they're not willing to participate then we should go ahead and add it Abo Yemen 14:12, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Pakistan is not a belligerent here. Similar to Black September, the involvement of Pakistani pilots doesn't necessarily mean that the Pakistani government was officially involved in this war. In fact, Pakistani pilots operated Royal Saudi Air Force jets, not Pakistani ones. The remaining sources are inaccessible. Skitash (talk) 15:00, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Quote directly states that "Pakistan returned Saudi favour by sending pilots during Al Wadiah war" , moreover I'm not adding Pakistan as a whole just the PAF. Waleed (talk) 15:19, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Skitash , see this [1] Waleed (talk) 15:26, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
