Genre debate[edit]

google "Agent Steel Thrash Metal" google "Agent Steel Speed Metal"

Not 100% accurate but look at the number of hits...

I think it is fair to say that agent steel are definitely speed metal. They are known as speed metal far more widely than thrash metal. WP:NPOV. --PureHolocaust 19:55, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I speak on behalf of the WP:HMM in the fact they are not Speed Metal as its not a genre, and bands are not listed as coined terms on Wikipedia. Ley Shade 01:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
They always been a speed metal band, but the latest album (from 2007) is closer to thrash metal. That does not meen they are a thrash metal band anyway. Calling them a thrash metal band is giving a false image of the band. --KEN (talk) 12:40, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agent Steel is not a Power Metal band —Preceding unsigned comment added by Osten90 (talkcontribs) 18:44, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

^According to the reliable A-Z of power metal text (page 7) from Garry Sharpe-Young, they are power metal. Of course, their origins are more speed/thrash. Vortiene (talk) 18:12, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
