Needs expansion[edit]

especially references for the proposed c.1177 to c.1300 which I've not included yet. Also the art history angle and the later history of both the ceremonial porch and brass posts could be expanded. Johnson's 1921 history appears to have been the standard for generations and still a starting point for Old Oyo histories. It is available full tex here. An expansion or just filling in of the older entries in List_of_rulers_of_the_Yoruba_state_of_Oyo could be started with this text. T L Miles (talk) 21:26, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
