Neutrality[edit]

I'm tagging the article because it needs a more neutral tone. I don't know how to feel about an editor saying they're removing the COI template because they rewrote the article and don't have a COI. On one hand, this version is better sourced. On the other hand, it's mainly sourced to schools Meleis is connected to (so it needs more independent sourcing), and it uses WP:PEACOCK phrases, like "renowned", "unprecedented" and "sought-after expert".

Also, this edit still added some similar phrasing as an earlier (likely COI) edit from 2016 - such as having an almost identically formatted "Selected works" section, and using phrases like "internationally renowned", and calling her a "nurse scientist and medical sociologist".[1]

Anyways, it needs some cleanup, so I'm tagging it until the phrasing issues can be addressed, and until sources can be double checked or replaced with more independent ones. - Whisperjanes (talk) 23:09, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
