There's a newspaper cutting with an obituary of Daintrey at https://patrickleighfermor.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/adrian-daintrey-obit.pdf. This would be [more] usable if we could work out which newspaper it was from and on what date. Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:30, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Given Anthony Powell's comments in the second book of his Journals about Hugh Massingberd asking him to contribute to Daintrey's obituary in the Daily Telegraph (and Massingberd's own reference to this in a Spectator article- http://archive.spectator.co.uk/article/15th-july-1989/17/a-brief-life-and-a-merry-one), unless this obituary simply reproduced Powell's contribution it must be from the Telegraph; I'm not sure about the date, though, unfortunately.
