Branch of Service[edit]

The Arlingtoncemetery.net link [1] contains text that places Dubs in the Marine Corps, but the photograph of his tombstone specifies United States Navy. Lieutenant commander isn't a Marine rank, so I changed the branch of service to the Navy. If I'm wrong, we should change it back and put a note on the talk page so no one else makes the same mistake. Murder of kidnappers[edit]

The article contradicts itself. Either two kidnappers were murdered after capture, or one was murdered and the other escaped. The article gives both inconsistent versions.122.59.167.152 (talk) 10:54, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Family and early life?[edit]

This article says nothing about its subject's family and early life, skipping from his birth to college graduation. Who were his parents? Did he have siblings? Where was he raised? Did he marry? All of these issues should be handled in a biographical article. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 17:38, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
