Notability[edit]

In response to "Non-notable football team. Plays at an essentially social level of the game." I can only disagree, the team are semi-professionals and play in a semi-professionals competition. Not too mention the huge historical significance of the club in Newcastles football history. The club 120 years old in 2009 formerly played in the National Soccer League.

I disagree that the the second division of the Newcastle competition is a notable level of football (I have my doubts about the first division, only the existence of Northern New South Wales Football as an independent body gets that over the line). But, if they played in the NSL, they are indeed notable. -- Mattinbgn\talk 05:30, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree they did play for one year in a former national football competition, after the bankruptcy of another Newcastle team.--Grahame (talk) 05:47, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Players[edit]

Section requires cleanup. Most of these players are not notable at all according to Wikipedia's notability requirements.

Suggest remove all players barring those with Wikipedia profiles. If there are players that merit Wikipedia profiles but do not have them (e.g. went on to have a professional career, represented Australia internationally) they should be created. 203.33.163.234 (talk) 10:17, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
