Former members[edit]

Wolf Hoffmann and Peter Baltes, who have been with the band through its entire recording history are listed as "former members". Admittedly, the band has broken up, so all the members are former members, but shouldn't they rather be listed as "last line-up"?--Odd M. Nilsen 15:39, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just like to say that Staying a life is NOT a compilation. A close listening indicates it is the full show from which the Kaizoku Ban mini album was lifted! They were pretty damn good... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.151.189.111 (talk) 21:10, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction[edit]

The introduction says they were founded in the early 1970s. The biography starts off with a claim they were founded in 1968.

Accept didn't release their debut until 1979. I have a suspicion that any band Dirkschneider had prior to 1979 is regarded as "Accept" in this article. Perhaps the "Band X" period should be considered a different band? If someone could provide a reference for their first public appearance as Accept or some statement that would pinpoint their start at an early point - for example the start of their "professional career" in 1976, that date or year could be used. If the shift from Band X to Accept came with no or minor changes in the line-up, maybe they should be regarded as the same band. Any views on this? Any info, sources? Odd M. List of Past and Present Members[edit]

Someone with more knowledge than me needs to add an official list of past and present members. zappafrank2112 (talk) 06:21, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Musical influences[edit]

Hi, I need information on this band's musical influences, whether they have on other bands or the other bands have on them. what i get from listening to them is shades of Judas priest, iron maiden, scorpions, ACDC and so on, but I want to know if it is their shade on these famous bands or they are getting inspired by these more mainstream bands. plus i think this information should be made as a part of the article. so, waiting on the answer here, peace. dan 119.155.24.164 (talk) 07:22, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV, please[edit]

This article, especially coverage of the band's later years, is egregiously lacking in NPOV. One gets the quick impression that it was written by a fan. It's a shame because this seems to have the potential to be a good article. I don't really have the time, or enough knoweledge of the band to fix it right now, but I would encourage anyone who does to help out here. Joefromrandb (talk) 12:24, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AcceptAccept (band) – Numbers for this band is the same as the organization from Romania that protects LGBT people. The title itself is very ambiguous because "accept" is a common word for approving people or things. Significant or not in a long term, the German band is not what an average reader has in mind. George Ho (talk) 16:33, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Google hits: 5,200,000 for the LGBT organization (here) and 134,000,000 hits for the band (here). Obviously the band is the primary topic. Volcanoguy 19:46, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
