Abolition is already a disambiguation page that has a see-also to this article. This is confusing . I don't see a reason to have separate disambiguation pages for these two topics. Jojalozzo 23:29, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rather no. Pages are a bit confusing, I agree with you (but not because the see-also section exists, simply because both pages deal with a wide range of subjects). Still : abolition is the fact, abolitionism the movement. A clear distinction is useful : a good chronological layout, a sharp formulation would help but merging would not, from what I can imagine.--Hérisson de Cloche 11:37, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
