General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Fascinating story and hook, in keeping with policy. This is good to go. I actually prefer the first hook over ALT1 - it's pithier and inspires the reader click into the article to learn more. Topshelver (talk) 16:12, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ALT1 is not true as written. It could be rewritten (add surface area qualifier), but the reviewer preferred the other hook, so I just struck it.  MANdARAXXAЯAbИAM  16:59, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Post-promotion comment: the link to the BBC article that confirms the hook fact does not work but this link does. Schwede66 02:47, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Authors[edit]

Unsure which way you want to go on author format in the references. Reference 3 uses last/first format, while 4 & 5 use first/last format Keith D (talk) 11:38, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
