Speedy delete[edit]

This isn't appropriate. I created this article by researching this org and adding appropriate citations; only the recent additions by an unregistered user constitute legitimate concerns about advertising, particularly after their revelation on their talk page that they work within the organization. I am going to delete the offending information and then delete the tag; if you are still concerned please nominate the article for AfD. • Freechild'sup? 18:13, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1)"Mission" still reads like an ad. 2)The list of the BoD is unnecessary, and looks like a vanity insertion. 3) There should be an external link to the main site, not a link farm for additional AED webpages. 4) What is the relevance of that last link to this article? --Orange Mike | Talk 18:24, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Kept the actual mission, erased the fluff; deleted the list of BoD members, keeping only ones with WP articles implying notability; removed linkfarm. • Freechild'sup? 20:14, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In news[edit]

AED has in the past 48 hours become part of news pieces by many US publications. USAID canceled their overseas contracts as a consequence of "serious corporate misconduct." I think this article is worthwhile, but it needs to be re-written; presently it reads like an advert.

Then add something, with proper citations (see WP:CITE for guidance). --Orange Mike | Talk 21:38, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the citation showing that AED rebranded itself because of that news article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaul29 (talkcontribs) 21:18, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

COI Box[edit]

Does this need to stay? Looks like Orangemike and Gaul29 worked it out pretty well on OrangeMike's talk page. 207.188.255.50 (talk) 14:26, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I tend to agree and have removed the box. It certainly can be added back if the issue reemerges. Kozitt (talk) 15:32, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
