Checking against GA criteria[edit]

It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
"the album was recorded between the United States and Mexico." This could be phrased better.

"Jason Birchmeier from Allmusic named it "an eagerly awaited album with a phenomenal lead single." - "named it"?

"After spending the majority of his career signed to Sony, and later, Sony BMG, Arjona signed a long-term recording deal with Warner Music Latina." is a copyvio of the source.

"On an interview" - "on" an interview?

"Quinto Piso" is an analytic song which theme is life and its defects." "It has been considered a prologue with autobiographical tendencies" 2Its lyrics are an analogism between the absence and that beloved person" Very poor prose.

Overall, the prose is poor and not fit for GA status.

I'm sorry, it's been a while since I've done anything with GA's, but is it policy now to speedy fail an article? The issues seem like ones that can be fixed within a week. Can you put this on hold instead? Ryan Vesey Review me! 00:18, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This wasn't a quickfail, a number of issues were found, including very poor prose throughout. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure the article is fit for review before nomination.
