Reference for inhibition effect on estradiol?[edit]

Does someone have a reference for inhibition of Inhibition of 5α-reductase "results .. and, perhaps, increased levels of estradiol." I don't doubt it might, but I wonder if any direct research has been done. Can a person survive with a 5α-reductase deficiency, or is there some kind of conditional inhibition disorder? Many of the mentioned "side effects" don't appear in many of the 5a-Reductase inhibitors(like Dutasteride) clinical trial on people[edit]

" impaired cognitive function, fatigue, hypoglycemia, impaired liver function, constipation, and depression, " didn't appeared in any of the studies I saw about Dutasteride or Finasteride. Many of those mentioned can have psychological reasons, including the erectile dysfunction part. Even my doctor didn't mentioned this when I got a prescription for Avodart(Dutasteride). Sometimes "side effects" are mentioned in some studies even when they have no actual relation to the drug, one study even mentioned influenza infection as side effect for Dutasteride.

Side effects need to be mentioned only when it is proven that the drug actually cause this side effect or if it is a very known side effect of the drug. --5.22.135.154 (talk) 19:32, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Steroidals are irreversible?[edit]

There is reference that steroidal’s are irreversible. There should be clarification of what exactly this means.
