Needs new picture[edit]

The focus of the current picture is the BSOD and Duane Reade. You can barely make out the subway sign. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.132.221.211 (talk) 15:38, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[edit]

I think this page needs a rewrite. I think the edits made by 68.161.125.6 have valid reasons and I don't think you can copy and paste even if it is sourced.--IGeMiNix (talk) 18:23, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite Update[edit]

Above criticism is valid. Substantial portions of this article were copied and pasted from this nycsubway.org page. Also, no cites were given in the article body indicating that the text was sourced from that page.

Please note at the bottom of the nycsubway.com page that it states "Copyright © 1995-2012 www.nycsubway.org" and "nycsubway.org is not affiliated with any transit agency or provider". The nycsubway.org site is a privately run site, is not own or operated by a public transit agency, and is not public domain. Additionally, their about the site page clearly states, "No part of this work may be copied or republished in electronic or printed form without prior approval of the respective copyright holder."

I rewrote much of the content and provided cites, so the page wouldn't just be outright plagiarism, but I also eliminated parts that still need to be replaced. Please do not copy and paste from nycsubway.org to fill in missing information. It is a violation of their copyright to do so.
