Pre-FLC review[edit]

  • In the first-sentence quote, you can add an en dash for the time range even though it isn't in the quote. Style fixes like that are allowed and encouraged.
  • That sentence is long and a run-on. I'd recommend splitting the part after the quote into its own sentence.
  • Should there be periods in AJ Hammer's first name?
  • "and Hammer Christi Paul hosted the pre-show." Should Hammer be here?
  • "The acceptance speech format was altered to adding live on-stage interviews...". "adding" → "add"?
  • "The Ellen DeGeneres Show won its fourth win...". "won its fourth win" is redundant by nature. Surely another arrangement is possible?
  • Remove "has" from "Steve Harvey has received two nominations for hosting duties".
  • Winners and nominees: "the winner of the category shown first" needs "is" before "shown".
  • Several photos still need alt text.
  • Presenters and performers: The names should be sorting by last name, not first name.

  • Please listen to me instead of acting out and asking if the commenter is blind. I assure you that I am not, and such comments don't add to my desire to contribute on this site, regardless of whether they were intended as a joke. When you click on the Name column to sort, you should find the table sorting like this: Alex Trebek, Bethenny Frankel, Betty White, etc. In other words, not by last name, which would be last names starting with A and going down. There are sort templates that you can use to force sorting by last name, instead of making the table look ugly by showing the names as last name first.   • That's okay. Unfortunately, it looks like all you did was add a sorting command, which didn't fix the problem itself. Try looking at the formatting of the names in Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award, an FL I've worked on in the past.   • Soapcentral is a very reliable source since it is run by a reporter. Also, if you have not notice every one uses this especially soaps operas realated articles.   • Ref 14 has a formatting issue that is causing code to show up to the readers. Looks like a curly bracket is missing at the end.
  • What makes Soap Central (ref 16) reliable?

  • "and Robin Meade for the first time also, Hammer and Christi Paul who hosted the pre-show ceremony." This doesn't read well even after the changes; the "for the first time also" part is poorly placed, and a word is needed between the comma and Hammer.
  • Typo in the Ricki Lake alt text: "brunnette".
