Question
Where the fuck does it say that its a released single? And why blogspot? — Legolas (talk2me) 05:19, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

- You could consider all Born This Way's tracks as singles, because they are to be sold separately on iTunes, too. If it's on iTunes, that doesn't make it an official single yet. Could this be promotional?? -- Frous (talk) 05:12, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

- It's a single because it is being distributed on its own on iTunes, rather than one of several tracks in an album which is how the 17 tracks of Born This Way is treated. Every other similar release by the group The Lonely Island has been considered a single. For all we know, this will be the first track off of their third studio album because the song was recorded long after their second studio album was printed and distributed to vendors. The nature of it currently being a non-album single can be covered later, and there is nothing anywhere online that lists this as a promotional single, so using {{Infobox song}} is invalid as it fits every other earmark of what is considered a single.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:00, 21 June 2011 (UTC)

- For what it is or is not worth, it has not been serviced to my radio station as a single for airplay. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't be, but as of this very moment, I would call it a "song", not a "single". StrikerforceTalk Review me! 02:54, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- Per Billboard songs which are commercially released + sent for radio adds are considered singles. "3 Way" hasn't yet been sent to the radio, nor has it charted anywhere I see. At present its status is at best a promo release, and would of course change if its sent for radio adds. - There hasn't been much of any press surrounding the song just yet. However, in the new era of music distribution, if a group releases something like this individually to musical outlets, we should probaly consider it a single. - Why is it necessary to verify that this is a single just for the use of a templtae? Due to the nature of the current music market, songs like this are released to iTunes on their own. - Because this time it seems they haven't called it their single. I know it might not be sent to radio, seeing the status of their previous singles, but they announced them so. However, this time seems different for them. I don't understand what they are exactly playing at, rush releasing the song and then not even talking about it. - Any song can chart based on its digital performance since Billboard has allowed it. The song did not chart now, it already charted two months ago, but sources became available now. I still don't see any kind of indication that this was released as a single. May be a physical release or any radio date, or also extensive promotion. If this was really a single, Gaga would have spoken somewhere or the other about it, like she did for "Chillin" and the remix of "Video Phone". Most comedy songs are not promoted to radio. I don't believe any Lonely Island singles have been to date. There is no reliable source that this is a promotional single and thus we don't need to be so assumptive. –Chase (talk / contribs) 22:56, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
