Comment on the recent revert[edit]

There is no such thing as an "English" collaboration. Anything that happens in England happens in the UK. It may be that the press coverage in the USA said "English", as this is a common error (even among the English). How would it be if I had changed "American debut album" to "Californian debut album" on the basis that it was recorded in LA? Deb (talk) 13:13, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"English" here refers to the language, not the location. If you think this needs to be clarified, perhaps the article could be changed to specifically say "English-language" on first use.VoluntarySlave (talk) 14:09, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Changed to "in English" and "United States" where it relates to the Billboard interview where CL is asked if the group will make a debut "stateside". CL does say "English songs". -AngusWOOF (talk) 15:34, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Microsoft Surface[edit]

I feel it needs a note that the song 'I Am The Best' is used in the new Microsoft Surface Pro3 television advertisement. 95.45.113.179 (talk) 18:11, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is 2NE1 in the commercial or is it only their song? If it's the latter then it should only be posted in the song's article. -AngusWOOF (talk) 22:54, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice about the filmography[edit]

the filmography section appears to have no references which is problematic and can result in it being blanked or the section removed unless proper references are found showing the notability of each. I strongly suggest someone does this as we are trying to enforce more of the wiki standards in these k-pop articles.Peachywink (talk) 21:33, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Minzy page[edit]

Does Minzy not have her own article? Google seems to show she has her own Wikipedia article, but every search goes back to 2ne1. Just curious. BashBrannigan (talk) 00:59, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@BashBrannigan: The Minzy article was discussed at AFD, and it was concluded that the article be redirected to its parent article. You can read the Afd discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Minzy. Versace1608 (Talk) 02:13, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2NE1 activity[edit]

2NE1 were active until 2017 not 2016. They released a single in 2017 therefore that’s when they were active until. The same case can be said for Wanna one (which was agreed). I don’t know why some users disagree with a fact. If there is no response to this by August 12, I will change it to 2017. Bibian48 (talk) 11:22, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2NE1 and Wanna One can't be compared here; Wanna One were physically active and performed live concerts in January 2018. YG releasing a song by 2NE1 is just that, and we don't have any evidence of when the song was recorded. Alex (talk) 11:27, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Record sales?[edit]
