Change note on EL qualification for 5th place[edit]

As we know, the DFB-Pokal winner gets a Europa League group stage spot in addition to #5 - unless they also finish in the top 5, in which case the Pokal winner's spot transfers to the 6th place team and sends #7 to UECL.

Leverkusen have secured a top 5 finish now and are in the Pokal semis with Fortuna Dusseldorf, Kaiserslautern, and Saarbrucken, none of which play in the Bundesliga and hence cannot finish in its top five.

Hence, I think the note on #5's qualification should in fact be for #6, and it should read:

If Bayer 04 Leverkusen win the DFB-Pokal, the 6th place team will qualify for the Europa League group stage, with their Conference League spot passing to the seventh-place team. Goodboy9796 (talk) 16:05, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm saying that we shouldn't say if top 5 team win DFB-Pokal, I'm saying we change top 5 team to Leverkusen - this still does acknowledge the possibility that FCK, Saarbrucken, or Fortuna win. Goodboy9796 (talk) 14:19, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
