Please add information regarding engine penalties for Vettel ,Bottas and Russell . Can you add also information about qualifying and race start times. In the qulaigying section add the information that drivers who set lap times going double waved yellow flag zone will have their lap times deleted--MKL123 (talk) 18:23, 22 October 2021 (UTC) MKL123 (talk) 18:23, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, this will be added. Just remember WP:BOLD, sometimes you can do it yourself. BMB YT 500000 (talk) 18:48, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@BMB YT 500000: MKL123 is not yet autoconfirmed and cannot edit this article. That's why we have edit requests. RudolfRed (talk) 19:23, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@RudolfRed Ok, I didn't realise. Thanks for letting me know! BMB YT 500000 (talk) 07:34, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@MKL123:  Done, although the yellow flag thing is in the background section. It applies to all sessions, not just quali. SSSB (talk) 09:26, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Attendance[edit]

Do we want to include a mention that this event was the highest-attended in the sports history? I have seen a couple articles supporting this. Twirly Pen (Speak up) 21:00, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Twirlypen: could you please cite those sources at List of Formula One race records where a citation of this claim is needed. Thanks,

To actually awnser your question: yes, a sentence in the background section would seem justified. SSSB (talk) 22:36, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@SSSB:, I found an ESPN article, https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/32471853/official-f1-cracked-america-just-beginning?platform=amp "COTA welcomed a record attendance -- 400,000 across the four days, with 140,000 on race day alone -- having added capacity with new grandstands around the final sector."
This is from my mobile link so it may need to be tidied up. Also, since this cites 400,000 as well, it could replace reference #6. Twirly Pen (Speak up) 00:34, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Strike my entire reply... The quote could mean it is only COTA's record attendance. The other sources I've seen claiming all-time F1 attendance are sites like racefans.net Sorry. Twirly Pen (Speak up) 00:44, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
