  • @Flix11 and PaPa PaPaRoony: I'm sorry, but can we please discuss on the article structure and citations? This seems started to became edit war Nyanardsan (talk) 05:22, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Nyanardsan: It did but it has subsided now. I will try to improve later on once further reports have been brought to light. PaPa PaPaRoony (talk) 05:26, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The year shouldn't be in the title. It's in many other titles due to the need to distinguish from similar events in the same location, which isn't needed here. Titles should be concise. It can only be moved by an admin. Jim Michael (talk) 08:48, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If the argument is that there was no other attack in Makassar, 2002 Makassar bombing exist. Also many attacks on the campaignbox of terrorism in Indonesia, despite the attack only happened once in that place before still includes the year such as 2016 Samarinda church bombing and 2004 Palopo cafe bombing. Unless if you suggest these should change too, I think it's important to avoid a generalized title and be specific. Nyanardsan (talk) 21:13, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The 2002 bombing wasn't at a cathedral, so Makassar cathedral bombing is unambiguous. Other attacks in which there's only one of its type & location should also have the years removed from their titles. Some need years in their titles, including 2002 Bali bombings & 2005 Bali bombings. Jim Michael (talk) 09:49, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reactions[edit]

Leaving the last para as it is suggests the trial is somehow a justification for an act of terror against innocent people - I'm not involved in editing this one, but someone should add a referenced line or two to the effect to counter the rationalization so coldly presented.
