Le Castellet from space.
Le Castellet from space.

  • huge article and huge effort. Well done all. Into main space on the day said. Oodles of facts and well sourced refs. QPQ done but not required so double thx to HumanBodyPiloter5. No sign of close paraphrasing. The image is not very eye candy ish IMO. Well deserved B class article. Too many blokes mentioned but that is something that organisers need to fix. I would change "large size of the Le Castellet venue" to "venue's size" Cheers Victuallers (talk) 11:00, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.

If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)

I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.

Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs)

Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

Lede[edit]

General[edit]

  • Some spectators cancelled their bookings following the date change; the organisers re-sold returned tickets - is this actually relevant? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • A lap at the recently resurfaced circuit measures 5.842 kilometres - measures. Whilst I'm sure it's still true, we don't want to have to go back and change it when it changes. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sole Formula One tyre supplier Pirelli - whilst I realise that there is historical reasons to say sole, we don't need to say that in this article. "The Formula..." would be fine. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • wings of cars - pipes to a redirect. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • hit a wall - maybe "made contact", "hit a wall" has some other meanings. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm a bit suprised there isn't a dedicated article to the current Alfa Romeo F1 team. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I know the bolding is for the fastest time, but we need to spell that out due to WP:ACCESS. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've said this before, (and maybe it's worth a bigger chat), but I'm not a fan with the prose and statistic tables being intertwined. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Why is the whole of the points list in bold? Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Championship standings after the race needs some prose. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:12, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Review meta comments[edit]

I'm happy to support the nomination (and will pass now). I've pretty much given you a FAC review above, which is where the article should probably go. I trust that you'll make the neccesary changes I've outlined before taking it to that forum. Great article, fantastic work Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 12:13, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support races[edit]

There is missing information about 2021 Le Castellet Formula 3 round which was a support race for 2021 French Grand Prix. It's included only in See also section. I don't know if there was any more support events. Eurohunter (talk) 16:58, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you mean? That's a separate article. If information is missing there then feel free to find references and expand it. The only thing that's relevant for the purposes of this article is the single sentence which states that FIA F3 and the Clio Cup held support races, using this source as a reference.
