Spelling of women's winner[edit]

I don't understand why but even though her bib says "KIPYOGEI", most of the newspaper articles and so on say "Kipyokei". I think Kipyokei is probably correct.

Update - Diana Kipyokei told Boston Marathon race authorities that she prefers the K over the G. She did it within 2 days of the race and I guess that was too soon to fix the bib. There is an article about this referenced on her page now. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/10/11/sports/boston-marathon-2021 Gr5555 (talk) 14:20, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Does the 1918 military relay race count as the 22nd Boston Marathon[edit]

In 1918 the marathon was replaced with a military relay race, is this included as one of the runnings of the Marathon? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aalaa324 (talkcontribs) 09:26, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

125th?[edit]

isn't it the 124th? it'd be 125th if 2020 hadn't been cancelled! 2601:19C:5280:5BA7:CD73:B45E:F6F7:C35A (talk) 01:31, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
