Template Message[edit]

Can we remove the "primary sources" template message saying this relies too much on primary sources. If you have an article outlining the official schedule and results are you not justified in using the official source? Jopal22 (talk) 22:38, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Kisner[edit]

Kevin Kisner joined the European Tour after his WGC Match Play win. The European Tour has him with 1,689 R2D points on his personal bio, but only 1,607 in the leaderboard table. Does anyone know if his 2019 WGC-Mexico points count to the R2D standings or whether those points were earned too long before taking up membership and so don't count? Originally I thought the leaderboard must be a mistake, as the "Tournaments Played" count is 3, indicating the 2019 WGC-Mexico should be included. http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/racetodubai/rankings/index.html Jopal22 (talk) 12:54, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The European Tour doesn't count R2D points retroactively, so if he wasn't already an affiliate member, nothing prior to his win would be counted. pʰeːnuːmuː →‎ pʰiːnyːmyː → ‎ɸinimi → ‎fiɲimi 19:05, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll update Jopal22 (talk) 19:22, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers in brackets[edit]

What do the numbers in brackets after player names on the tour schedule mean? I'm guessing its the number of wins the player has on the European Tour, but there isn't anything to say so explicitly. --Bcp67 (talk) 07:18, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. Tour articles that use this style should say what the numbers mean, as per 2019 Asian Tour. Nigej (talk) 07:28, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - and can see you have added the note at the top of the table, thanks. --Bcp67 (talk) 12:30, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
