Pools B, C and D[edit]

They should have their own pages like in Pool A and not reverts to the main page. VGN34D (talk) 20:26, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes B should, but C and D have not had any games yet, so they shouldn't. For B I would suggest you can WP:FIXIT. - GalatzTalk 20:29, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2021 Qualification[edit]

Does anyone have a source showing the team that finishes third in a group automatically qualifies for 2021? I can't find any official rules on 2021 qualification yet, just articles stating as such, like this one on the official site: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/218572458/following-elimination-korea-looking-forward/?topicid=209143850 SportingFlyer (talk) 02:37, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are several RS saying it, so I do not think its a problem for the article to have it. The official rules wont say it because the tournament could potentially die after this year. They said they need to see how revenue is before determining if there even will be a 2021 tournament. A team could still qualify for 2021 even if the tournament doesn't happen however... - GalatzTalk 03:07, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Staggered Start between Pools A,B and C,D[edit]

I looked through a couple of the links at bottom of page. Is the reason that Pools A and B started two days earlier than Pools C and D that the championship is in Western Hemisphere and will give them time to adjust to time change? If so, I think it would add to the article if not, why? Autkm (talk) 21:49, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure that's the reason. Not sure that there's a citable source that says so. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:56, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pool C and D MVP[edit]

We're seriously missing the space for MVP player, and no one was able to find out who the MVP player is. Check this out whenever possible. Had to put as N/A because no one got the source of MVP for Pool D. Also, there's no MVP for Pool C either. VGN34D (talk) 20:17, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Taken care of them now. Carry on. VGN34D (talk) 03:16, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Final standings[edit]

Is there any source for the final standings? And it is sure that Israel is 7th and Cuba 8th, which means the 3rd and 4th of group F are 5th and 6th overall????--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 13:40, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I also don't know how that "tiebreaker score" is calculated. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:41, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And now it's getting completely crazy. Venezuela is listed with 2-4 wins even before their last game.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 11:10, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It seems it is just a playing ground for IPs. It should be hidden until a ranking is given on the official site.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 11:12, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"It seems it is just a playing ground for IPs." - As is all of Wikipedia! - BilCat (talk) 17:03, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
shouldn't someone just re-list the rankings with the rules set out by the WBC? as in runs allowed/defensive innings played? isn't that better than having nothing on the page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:905B:2500:21B0:9179:5AC1:64D9 (talk) 08:45, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
