Why did the Russians walk out?[edit]

Are there any sources indicating the reason for the Russian team's behavior during the Canadian anthem? Was it game-related or political? — Kpalion(talk) 08:28, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

...an organizational blunder, Russian sports officials and players said, according to Russia Today. Interesting that NHL stars Malkin and Ovechkin remained on the ice ... :D --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 16:21, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but what do reliable sources say? — Kpalion(talk) 11:41, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
RT cites Russian sports officials and players, so in this case it could be considered reliable as a source, no matter how laughable and unreliable the claims of sports officials and players are. Most of the members of the Russian national team were players with rich experience on international scene and they (should) know very well what is appropriate during such ceremonial and what is not. Czech and international media just speculated and generally wrote about "a shame" and "breach of the sport's etiquette" Russians showed after the match. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 15:59, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
