Improvements needed including photo[edit]

The article needs to be expanded as of this posting. Perhaps we should bring the photo of the volcano over from the article. Jusdafax 20:24, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It definitely should be expanded. I think the photo should illustrate the eruption, and we don't have one like this. --Moscow Connection (talk) 21:22, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This section title and the next show that an out of context satellite image and Cartesian coordinates aren't "doing it". The article needs an outline map (and/or submap) of Japan and a point reference suitable for a nonresident to recognize roughly its location without further having to refer to Japanese topographic maps. 71.222.69.242 (talk) 18:31, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Location[edit]

What are the coordinates in this article pointing at? The Mount Ontake article has different coordinates. Abductive (reasoning) 17:31, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I just copied the coordinates from the Japanese article. You are welcome to change them. --Moscow Connection (talk) 17:34, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I looked at the map and it's off... I will change the coordinates to the ones in the Mount Ontake article. --Moscow Connection (talk) 17:46, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I guess it's better now. (Not the ones from the Mount Ontake article, though. I tried and tried, and I think I succeded.) --Moscow Connection (talk) 18:40, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As I understand, both were right. Mount Ondake is a very big mountain. Now the coordinates point to the very peak. Look: [1] --Moscow Connection (talk) 19:04, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
