Qualification results[edit]
It has never discussed that results for Ironman qualifying results need to be included. I do not feel that they are necessary. Since the inception of the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 articles I have been almost the sole editor in adding the results to prior year's articles. Due to the massive amount of time it takes to include them, keep them updated and referenced within my already busy schedule I have chosen not to include them in the article. If someone feels the need to include them please feel free, until then I do not feel there is any need for the {{Update|date=May 2024}} template. Perhaps a more appropriate solution would be to list the final point standings at the end of the series to see who qualified for the championship since a top three finish at a qualifying race is not an automatic qualifier.
