2010 Rose Bowl[edit]

  • Re: "The participants in the BCS National Championship Game will partake in simular activities after the completion of the Rose Bowl Game.", You should check a little more carefully. No decisions have been made for the BCS game yet. After the Rose Bowl game? Shouldn't information, if truth, be posted at the BCS game article? The Rose Bowl teams leave town and the BCS teams move into Southern California. Members only site has all the information, including where the training facilities, not the same as the Rose Bowl or the previous years. Interestingly, some how you get such information from the East Coast. Ucla90024 (talk) 16:22, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Records[edit]

  • Isn't the record of each team equal "the overall wins-losses (-ties if applicable) of the Visitor (or Home) team playing in the game, prior to the start of the game" as indicated in the template? But some editors keep change the records after the game. Why?? 216.175.107.228 (talk) 02:49, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Favorite[edit]

In reference to the small edit war over using "by" or "-" in the infobox for the favorite, I stand corrected that the template guide uses "by" as seen at Template:Infobox NCAA football yearly game. In the future, you can simply find that yourself and reference it here on the talk page or at least attempt some sort of dialogue rather than starting an edit war and accusing editors of being the same person when they clearly aren't. I have seen the "-" sign in common usage, however, so it is also acceptable. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:50, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion about this very issue at WT:CFB#Odds, so the usage in the template may be changed. --JonRidinger (talk) 15:03, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
See the template for correct use. 99.90.144.184 (talk) 05:54, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
