To whomever GA reviews this article[edit]

I appreciate that under most circumstances that match reports would perhaps be an integral, necessity to an article like this; however, TV coverage of the matches was sparse-non existant, and basing match reports off match reports seems rather odd. If this gets reviewed within the next two days or so, I did intend to add some notes on the matches but they won't be anywhere near as extensive as, say, Bangladeshi cricket team in England in 2005 or something. Thanks. AllynJ 19:06, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi., this looks like a list to me than article. better put this for FLC. Kalyan 11:12, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It isn't a list. It's an article discussing and examining a list of matches; that in itself isn't a list. AllynJ 17:35, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Kalyan 18:21, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for GA[edit]

The article has been well-written and has good coverage. Majority of the aspects related to the warm-up matches has been covered. However, the article lacks the following:
1. photographs but i doubt if we have photos of warm-up matches.
2. Injuries to players is not covered (don't think it is very essential for warm-up matches, but is an aspect of the game).
3. Info on match referees. Did we have MRs for these matches. If so, they are not listed.
Kalyan 18:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent, thank you very much. I'll get working on it over the next day.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, why a neutral for OR? So I can find where to improve that. :) AllynJ 19:17, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, i got confused on the rating for OR. I had a strong inclination that it was a negative question and thus left un-answered. I can add the rating to the same. Kalyan 19:19, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, a bit later than I said I would, I apologise; but I've dealt with the match referees and added a note some info on them not being classed as List A either; not sure there's much left to add realistically. With regards to injuries, I have no idea where to look to find that out... From those I've seen, Cricinfo bulletins have yet to shed any light on any injuries to players suffered during these matches. I'm not even sure if there were any that occurred right now. Not sure what to do on that front. As for photos, I'll be looking around Flickr later; other than that it's unlikely we can get any really. If anyone could lend a hand with these two points that'd be ace.
Thanks all the same for the review and all that, Kalyan. Appreciated. AllynJ 13:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. A review of this article's GA status is underway at the above location. Thanks, `Blnguyen (bananabucket) 04:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As a result of a 10 day-long discussion at good article reassessment this article has been removed from the GA list. An archive of the discussion can be found at Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Archive 29. The main issue with the article is that it is largely a "list" article, and as such, should be taken to featured list candidates for any reviews. The Good Article project does not deal with lists because any hypothetical set of "good list criteria" would be identical to the current featured list criteria and so would be a redundant project. If you seek commendation for this list, please take it there.--Jayron32|talk|contribs 02:31, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
