Redirect[edit]

@Noolier: I was confused by your edit at first, as the 1986 entry at the {{European Union candidates}} template is a redirect to Enlargement of the European Union#Mediterranean enlargements. Regardless, neither of them should really be an article as they only exist to duplicate a sentence each from the much more robust linked section. If you do not intend to work on either article to expand them beyond their current state, they should be turned into redirects until someone takes them up. @Deadbeef: I don't think I'll expand any of those anytime soon. However, I do think that they deserve their own articles. Look at the 2004, 2007, and 2013 enlargements. Noolier (talk) 06:56, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't disagree, but the articles would probably be most useful as a redirect in their current form. Readers seeking information on the subjects would probably rather be treated to an article (section) with context than one that pulls a single sentence from the section and adds a simple map.
