Article for article's sake?[edit]

I don't know much about the subject, so I don't know how historically significant this game was. However, if we're only going to have a tiny bit of info on it, it'd be better covered in the main Rose Bowl article which already has as much info as this. So, while I'm not in a hurry, I'd suggest this get merged back in if it doesn't get expanded after a while. Friday (talk) 13:25, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1939 USC vs. UCLA football game[edit]

One particularly notable aspect of the 1940 Rose Bowl is the 1939 USC vs UCLA football game. It ended in a 0-0 tie and was the subject of speculation about whether Tennessee would or could play an integrated Bruin team. Group29 (talk) 18:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
