Data disagrees with IOC website[edit]

The numbers in the table don't agree with https://olympics.com/en/olympic-games/berlin-1936/medals which, for example shows Germany with 38 golds, not 33. Does anyone know what source was used for the numbers in the table here, and can they explain the differences? --David Biddulph (talk) 08:33, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

citation 1 (Eurosport) lists Germany with 33 so I assume that this is the source being used. I have no problem changing to the Olympics website table, so long as it is done consistently across all Wikipedia pages and for all countries (i.e. make changes to Germany at the Olympics, Athletics at the Summer Olympics etc.) SSSB (talk) 08:51, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
