Date of inauguration?[edit]

When did the official inauguration of the games take place? On 4th of May, as proposed by Olympic.org? Or on 5th of July, as presented in the official report (page 79)? Many thanks for any input on this issue.--Paracel63 (talk) 23:08, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Painting and Literature[edit]

It said in the 'paper today that medals were awarded for literature and painting in 1924. (Jack Yeats apparently won asilver medal for painting.) Is this cool or does it suck? --OhNoPeedyPeebles (talk) 17:40, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why are these medals not listed? Pageturners (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:01, 5 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Medal winners can be seen at Art competitions at the 1924 Summer Olympics. The medal tables only include those won for sports but I agree there should be some mention of the Arts medals in the article. I'll take a look at doing this in the next few days - Basement12 (T.C) 00:03, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link[edit]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

Importance of games[edit]

I think these Olympics were important and the description should reflect this in the opening sentence. 2607:FEA8:D5DF:1FE0:14B7:2A37:6353:53DD (talk) 02:44, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
