This article is confusing; it is making the assumption pwet that one is familiar with the sources cited; the bit about amputation, for example. And I'm pretty sure this girl had a name during her life; we just don't know it—yet it stated that she was never know as anything other than "1770". Jack Merridew

special:diff/506973308/prev was reverted by me. Are there really good sources that say the female guinea worm was in the abdomen? It make sense, that the female worm went to the legs and causes complications and amputations. --Diwas (talk) 21:32, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
