New album? Back together?[edit]

"Yours Truly" seems to be from 2011 with 12 main tracks and 13 alt. takes, demos, live, etc. etc. I have no idea what the background on this album is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jbsegal (talkcontribs) 15:35, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gothabilly???[edit]

Pretty sure they're not gothabilly. What the hell? Hotdoglives 14:02, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Definitely *not* "gothabilly". I think that should probably be changed... 68.78.26.166 15:08, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard them labeled as "dark country". -- AugustWinterman 0:00, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Breakup date[edit]

I disagree with the dates that they broke up. I saw them live in Antwerp on July 14, 2004. It was their last show of the tour and they announced they were breaking up within days of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.8.231.111 (talk) 08:54, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You might be right about that. I'll look into it tonight and change it if it seems like 2004 is a better date. I know their last show was indeed in 2004, but I seem to remember the official word coming in a few months later. I could be wrong though - like I say, I'll look into it soon. Thanks! Yeah, it seems like the official announcement of the band's split came in April 2005. Here is an archive of news from the band's fan page with a breakup declaration dated April 7, 2005. Here is an interview with drummer Tola with the same date discussing the announcement. Indeed, the July 14th Antwerp show of the 2004 tour was their last show, but I think that you might be confused regarding the date of the official breakup word, which came months later. My memory, imperfect and unverifiable of a source as it may be, is consistent with the later dates. Best, Colinclarksmith (talk) 03:17, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in 16 Horsepower[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 16 Horsepower's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
