Fair use rationale for Image:Verdun juniors.gif

Merger discussion
[edit]Both Verdun Juniors and Verdun Junior Canadiens are the same team, which changed its name in 1984.
This name difference is not sufficient to maintain two distinct articles (just like it would be counter-productive to keep a page for both Cat Stevens and Yusuf Islam).
The French Wikipedia (correctly) maintains a single article. Ptaff (talk) 15:06, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- This discussion would benefit from reliable sources which support the claim that they are the same team, simply renamed. Flibirigit (talk) 16:49, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
