Date of sinking[edit]

According to the official designation it sank in December 1739, rather than January 1740. Viv Hamilton 19:25, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this a Gregorian/Julian thing? Britain was still on the Julian calendar but the Dutch had switched to the Gregorian 150 years before. People need to check what calendar their sources are using, but I'd trust the likes of English Heritage a bit more than unsourced Wikipedians! :-) 81.109.183.49 (talk) 19:11, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

edit[edit]

I edited this page to include a link to the associated National Heritage List for England (NHLE) record on behalf of Historic England who are responsible for the management of wrecks designated under the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973. The NHLE record includes further information related to the wreck. Also included were links to virtual and/or physical dive trails associated with this wreck.Phoebe MSDS (talk) 13:58, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
