GA Passed

[edit]

This article demonstrates clear fulfillment of the GA criteria with its well written prose, copious citation from reliable sources, and coverage of the topic. I can't see any terribly easy way to improve this article except, maybe expand the background section to provide additional context. --Meowist 20:25, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelled out names

[edit]

I did not source any of these changes because it would have made a tedious chore even more so, but found all the correct names online. Feel free to ask me to prove they are correct if any are in doubt. I mostly used the usual 19th and 20th century books (Bancroft, etc.) found online for free, as well as the immigrant lists at oregonpioneers.com. Note that the list from the S.O.S. had quite a few errors in it, which is probably due to sloppy transcription and inability to read 19th century handwriting.
