Is there a reference supporting the above claim? If not we can't really include the statement in it's present form.--Gene_poole 02:29, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Freedonia vs Fredonia[edit]

Whoever founded this "must" have seen the Marx Bros. Duck Soup. No? Oh, come on now. Say the magic word and win a prize. Hail, hail, Fredonia, and all that.....Skookum1 22:44, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I have to agree that surely that was the inspiration for the name, however spelled. IanHistor 14:16, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is stupid[edit]

Decent articles get deleted all the time for being unencyclopedic, yet this idiotic fantasy of some kids gets a page?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.115.129.15 (talk) 22:23, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - I'm nominating this garbage for deletion... Dinkytown talk 22:04, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

False information added in September[edit]

During the month of September, the IP address 195.39.163.58 added a number of claims to the article that are without citation and most likely facetious. Those who fought oh so nobly to keep this article around should be the ones who bear the responsibility for keeping it accurate. Wickedjacob (talk) 18:53, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

beyond fanciful[edit]

… and the nation started functioning in 2014 by Jlk. Mlk is the new general of FreeDonia I.

What, if anything, does this mean? —Tamfang (talk) 11:46, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article doesn't seem to meet GNG. Its only mentioned in passing in a few sources, and seems to be defunct and no more coverage is coming. A mention on the Freedonia page seems appropriate however. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! 07:38, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
