Wernher von Braun

[edit]

Why is Wernher von Braun missing? Fustbariclation (talk) 09:18, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Leni Riefenstahl

[edit]

I had added Leni; her international impact is strong, and visual ideology is a key motivator in any mass movement. The entry was removed, just curious as to why. BooksXYZ (talk) 13:15, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Because I am aware of nothing that would justify putting her in a list of "ideologues". She was a brilliant filmmaker, and would have taken the sort of opportunity she was offered under whatever system she lived in. If you have evidence that she was imbued with Nazi ideology, and personally espoused it, I'd be interested in seeing it, but the works themselves, while having inestimable propaganda value, do not show her to be an ideologue, in my opinion. I could be wrong, but I don't believe LR ever even joined the Party. There may have been a personal attraction towards Hitler, but it would be absurd to add say Eva Braun to this list of "ideologues" on that basis. Beyond My Ken (talk) 14:34, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Misrepresenation

[edit]

I'd like to nominate the article for having misrepresented German History and National Socialism in a maximum way. --105.12.0.35 (talk) 10:47, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, nominations in that category are now closed. Better luck next year. Beyond My Ken (talk) 00:39, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nietzsche under associated intellectuals; and other additions

[edit]

I´m going by the broadest interpretation (within a framework that I at least see as legitimate), if any one disagrees with anything (or everything for that matter) that I add, please explain here. StrongALPHA (talk) 11:05, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I´m going to restore mention of Heidegger but I will carefully place it under "associated intellectuals", I acknowledge that the former entry on him was too long but he is at least mention-worthy under the aforementioned category. It should be noted that the account which deleted his mention had only fourteen other wikipedia edits made which is very simmilar to the IP address which deleted the mention of Nietzsche demonstrating that the respective users have an agenda. StrongALPHA (talk) 23:02, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If anyone wants to challenge this please write and explain so here. StrongALPHA (talk) 23:12, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Neo-Nazis

[edit]

An editor added neo-Nazis to the list, changing the lede to accommodate this. I have removed them, since the purpose of the list specifically to enumerate Nazi ideologues, and those who came before the Nazis whose ides were taken up by them. The editor whoudl start a new article for neo-Nazis. Beyond My Ken (talk) 01:15, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Understood, and I have deleted these the only reason I did so was because of the-then existing mention of Savitri Devi, but the vast majority that I added were not Neo Nazis, everything with two exceptions has been removed. StrongALPHA (talk) 09:11, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
