Neutrality of Section 'Relation to persecution of Shugden practitioners'[edit]

  1. Title is a bit skewed- 'Relationship to Dorje Shugden Controversy' would be more neutral.
  2. Allegation that Gyatso's death is used to justify persecution of Shugden supporters is sourced from a pro-Shugden blog.
  3. Allegations by the Shugden Society that Indian police were doing the bidding of the CTA in interviewing and detaining Shugden followers is presented as fact.
  4. Claim that no link to Shugden was ever found is unsourced. Reports in the media that the police had evidence tying Shugden followers to the killing is again attributed to the media doing the bidding of the CTA. The links are currently flagged as malware sites, but I found one of the articles re-hosted elsewhere, and no such claim is made.
  5. 'Austria Buddhist Magazine'- is that the title of the magazine? Is there an English translation available to verify that Gyatso was threatened by other parties?
  6. The 2007 Times article identifies the two men for whom an Interpol Red notice was issued as being connected to Shugden. That isn't reflected in the current text. --Clay Collier (talk) 12:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you. My contributions have been almost completely suppressed. I'll restore it. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 23:12, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 23:57, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
