Proposed merge

I propose that this article be merged to Kingdom of Hawaii. The present article discusses the laws under which the Kingdom of Hawaii was ruled, presenting them in the present tense as if they were still in effect, and presents an extensive list of published material about said laws. However, since Wikipedia is neither a text book nor an indiscriminate collection of information, such detailed information about laws that have been defunct for over a century seems better suited to a history of law textbook rather than an encyclopedia. Aloha Dan, I am a novice on Wikipedia and would appreciate any assistance on proper editing of this post. There is much misinformation about Hawaii on Wikipedia; this is an attempt to provide accurate and verifiable information, directly from book sources. The article Ko Hawaii Nei Pae 'Aina, KHNPA, is from circa 1835 – 1997. The 1900 Organic Act, creating the Territory of Hawaii, continued to enforce the laws of Hawaii. These laws were republished in the “Revised Laws”, RL1925, and are reaffirmed in the current Hawaii Revised Statutes, HRS 1.1 and 7.1. Hence, continuity exists in the laws and rights of Hawaii.

I request that the current page, on KHNPA, be moved to the correct English heading of, Hawaiian Kingdom 1835-1897, as reflected in the documents. Additionally, The term(s) “kingdom of Hawaii”, is not published in any of the book sourced documents presented on Khnpa's page. Hawaiian Kingdom is the correct published name. KOH's use refers to Hawaii Island pre 1810. Information after 1810 would be better labeled, HK, as all written material presented states the names KHPA or HK. I also challenge the koh “exile” concept as presented. It fails to answer the questions, exiled to where, and by whom​? Further, Hawaii did not have a Prime Minister, as asserted on some pages, but, instead, had a Premier.

The entry kanaka maoli, redirects to Native Hawaiian. This term is well defined in the 1845 Statute laws and not represented on the NH page. However, there is a link to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs recruitment page, creating a new racial based government by self-determination. For Hawaii, “Self -determination” is closed, per UN resolution, 1514, section 5. Nor does Hawaii, qualify for decolonization, once having had a treatied government. Dr. J. Burger, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, of the UN Indigenous Conference, stated, that a person of the Christian religion can not be an indigenous person, nor can the citizen or subject of a civil society be considered indigenous. He further qualified that an indigenous person has no Civil or Constitutional rights. I realize that the definitions should have been and will be placed on wiktionary. If there are problems with the existing articles on Hawaii's history, the solution is to fix those articles by introducing the proper information (with citations of course). Creating a new article with your own version of the history is known as a POV fork (POV standing for point of view), and this is highly discouraged.
